Nursing

Western's Department of Nursing prepares future nurses through hands-on clinical training, evidence-based education, and a strong commitment to serving rural and underserved communities. As one of Colorado’s emerging Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs, Western offers students two pathways into professional nursing practice: a traditional four-year BSN and an accelerated nursing pathway for students with a prior bachelor’s degree.
